Watermum’s

We are pleased to provide a watermum’s service for pre and post-natel women at the Wyndham Leisure and Events Centre (80-82 Derrimut Road) Hydrotherapy pool (approx 34 degrees). Our qualified female physiotherapists conduct one hour classes aiming to improve strength and muscle control in the pelvic floor and other areas, utilizing the buoyancy and resistance of the warm water. The classes run for one hour, and are a fun and social way to exercise and meet other mum’s or mum’s to be.

In order to attend the class, a self assessment form needs to be completed, and a verbal OK from your obstetrician. After this, you just need to turn up at the class in swimwear, and a towel. No entry fee is required to the pool, just the class amount given to the physiotherapy instructor.

Price:

$18 per class (Block of 6 - $90)

Regular 6 monthly reunions are held to re-unite the mum’s and newborns.
