Amy joined Hoppers Physio at the end of 2017 after graduating from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Physiotherapy.
Amy has a passion for the treatment of sporting injuries and in particular the shoulder, hip, knee and ankle. She currently holds the position of Head Physiotherapist at Geelong VFLw in addition to the Head Physiotherapy role for the Vic Country State Academy U16 and U18- Girls in the AFLw. She has previously worked with Williamstown VFLw, the Western Jets Girls squad in the Coates League/NAB League AFLw pathways and local sporting clubs in the VAFA for men's football.
With her diverse skills in assessment, manual therapy and rehabilitation, Amy assists with different musculoskeletal injuries such as neck pain, headache disorders, back pain as well as sporting injuries. She assists in running our clinical exercise (Pilates) classes and conducts student supervision for private practice clinical placements for various universities around Melbourne.  She has attended many professional development courses lower limb conditions and the female athlete symposium; focusing on the differences between injury and rehabilitation between genders.
Amy is currently studying her Masters in Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy at La Trobe University.
