Hoppers Physio is committed to helping you effectively manage pain and are also devoted to helping athletes get the most out of their body in a way that avoids injury. We understand that each person’s pain and movement is as unique as their fingerprint and have therefore embraced ViMove.

ViMove, developed by dorsaVi, uses wireless sensor technology to accurately and objectively measure movement and muscle activity of the lower back, core and legs. This allows us to obtain a better understanding of the unique features of your movements and postures that may be contributing to injuries, pain, or running-based performance issues.

Discrete, easy to fit sensors are placed on your body and record movement both in and away from the clinic. Through doing so, we are able to see how your body responds to daily activities and exercise to pinpoint potential areas of concern. This information can then be used to identify problems & assist patients in the following areas:

  • Low back
  • Core
  • Hamstrings
  • Knees
  • Running styles and movement-related issues

The sensors can also be used for real time feedback and training in order to assist in rehabilitation and measurement efforts.
