Peony completed her Physiotherapy degree at the Lincoln School of Health Sciences, La Trobe University. She subsequently undertook postgraduate studies in Physiotherapy (Continence and Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation) at the University of Melbourne in 2002.
Peony has worked in Women’s and Men’s health physiotherapy for over 25 years, including previous employment as Senior Physiotherapist at the Royal Women’s Hospital, Western Health and Alfred Health. Her interests include the management of pelvic floor dysfunction, urinary and faecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, bladder overactivity and constipation. She also conducts physiotherapy pre and postnatal assessments and can help manage the musculoskeletal conditions associated with pregnancy and post childbirth.
Apart from WWMH Peony also works at other private practices in the CBD, the inner west and the northwest. She is aware of the impact that bladder and bowel dysfunction can have on the daily lives of men and women, and is committed to helping them achieve their pelvic health goals, and through this their quality of life.
